Although we are newcomers to the Phoenix catering scene, we have experience with providing anything from a cozy dinner for two up to a large buffet style wedding. We are looking to provide our customers with the flexibility and versatility too often overlooked by other companies and to fill the niche that other companies lack - removing the constraints of pre-made menus and allowing you, the customer, to take the lead! No matter what the occasion, our goal is to provide you with an exceptional culinary experience!
As a local small business, we will continually work to build relationships with local farmers & eco-friendly merchants to provide the freshest and highest quality ingredients for your menus.
- Catering - We provide all the typical services you would expect like buffets and plated dinners, but we do so much more, such as action stations like carved to order meats, tossed to order pasta dishes, and sauté.
- Personal Chef - Ever wished someone would come and cook a meal for you and you family? We can do in home prepared meals while you watch. Invite friends and do one of our cooking classes as well.
- Rentals - Anyone who has ever had catering hates going somewhere else to get rentals. Well look no further, because we can help you with linens, china, beverage stations, table décor and more!
- Extras - Just ask us what else we provide to make your event memorable, fun and stress-free. We can come and plan your entire event if you like, not just the food.
Our chef/owners have extensive culinary knowledge and a willingness to provide a unique experience not necessarily found with other companies. Both Eric and John are self proclaimed foodies and proud of it!
Chef/Owner Eric has been involved in blind basket culinary competitions similar to the popular television shows "Chopped" and "Iron Chef". Shortly after entering the culinary field (but not yet an established chef), he participated in such a competition against 6 chefs with over 100 years of combined experience and won!
Sous Chef/Owner John recently completed classic French culinary training, but has diverse experiences that date back over 20 years. Since completing his formal education, John's talents have been tested in the field by providing tasty offerings for groups of over 1000 people.
Both Tall Order Chefs have built relationships with other chefs of differing specialties to meet any customer needs and desires. There is nothing like a good brainstorming session of the culinary minds!
Terri, the third and final owner, is in charge of the business operations such as scheduling and keeping the boys in line! She is literally the "odd man out" being that she is female, not a chef and vertically challenged in comparison. However, if you ask the boys who is in charge the answer will undoubtedly be "Terri!"
Oh, and in case you are wondering, Terri is the one in the middle in the picture. She says she is five foot four inches tall.
